PRIVACY POLICY

Rise Consulting Group, Inc. (hereinafter referred to as the “Company”) is a business entity that provides management consulting services, which believes that protecting personal information is an extremely important and essential social responsibility. The Company respects the dignity of individuals, complies with laws, regulations, and social order, and has established the following privacy policy (hereinafter "this Policy") to handle personal information appropriately.

Acquisition of personal information

The Company will acquire personal information (as defined in the Act on the Protection of Personal Information (Act No. 57 of May 30, 2003, including subsequent amendments; hereinafter the “Personal Information Protection Act”); the same shall apply hereinafter) through legal and fair means. When the Company acquires personal information, the purposes of its use will be clarified, and the personal information will not be handled beyond the scope necessary to achieve the purposes of use. Additionally, sensitive personal information that may infringe on the interests of individuals will not be acquired, except with the explicit consent of the individual or in accordance with the provisions of laws and regulations.

Purposes of use of personal information

The Company shall use the personal information it has acquired for the following purposes


(1) Business negotiations with customers, conclusion and performance of contracts, and other necessary communications for the provision of the Company's services

(2) Provision of information on seminars hosted by the Company, execution and submission of questionnaires, and implementation of promotional and sales activities

(3) Development of new services as well as improvement and modification of existing services based on analysis of existing customers and marketing activities

(4) Provision of information on services offered by the Company, delivery of documents, and commencement and promotion of other services

(5) Responding to inquiries to the Company

(6) Personnel and employment management, post-retirement procedures, as well as other daily operations minimally necessary for the Company's business activities

(7) Selection and hiring procedures in the Company’s recruitment activities

Joint use of personal information

The Company reserves the right to jointly use personal information it has acquired in the following cases:


(1) Categories of personal information used jointly
・Name, company name, title, gender, age, address, telephone number, email address, and information provided in application documents and various forms
・Still images, video, audio, etc., used in jointly hosted seminars

(2) Party that jointly uses the information

Provision to third parties

The company will not provide or disclose personal information obtained from customers to third parties, except with the customer’s consent or when exceptions are permitted under the Personal Information Protection Act.


Exceptions permitted under the Personal Information Protection Act are as follows.


(1) When required by law

(2) When necessary to protect the life, health, property, or other vital interests of an individual, and it is difficult to obtain the individual's consent

(3) When particularly necessary to improve public health or promote the sound growth of children, and it is difficult to obtain the individual's consent

(4) When necessary to cooperate with a national agency, local government, person, or organization entrusted by either of the foregoing in executing affairs prescribed by laws or regulations, and obtaining the consent of the individual may impede the execution of such affairs

In addition to complying with the Personal Information Protection Act and other laws and regulations, as well as guidelines and other standards set forth by the relevant ministries and agencies, the Company has formulated a management system for the protection of personal information that conforms to the Japanese Industrial Standards “Personal Information Protection Management System: Requirements (JIS Q15001:2006)” and will operate accordingly.

Safety management measures

The Company shall take all reasonable safety management measures appropriate to the scope and size of the Company's business against any risks such as unauthorized access to personal information, loss, destruction, falsification, or leakage of personal information, and shall strive to maintain an effective safety management system by promptly correcting any problems that arise according to the latest market and technical trends, cases of accidents involving the handling of personal information, or customer requests for improvement. Contractor management

Upon providing personal information to an external contractor, the Company shall select those that meet adequate standards for the protection of personal information and shall exercise necessary and appropriate supervision to ensure that the contractor manages the personal information in a safe and secure manner.

Awareness and education of officers and employees

The Company will distribute this Policy to its officers and employees and make them aware of it. In addition, efforts will be made to educate and inform all of the directors and employees to improve their awareness of protection of personal information.

Requests regarding personal information

The customer or their representative may request the disclosure, correction, addition, deletion, suspension of use, removal, or suspension of provision to third parties of personal information in accordance with the provisions of the Personal Information Protection Act. In this case, the Company will respond appropriately in accordance with the provisions of the Personal Information Protection Act.

Procedures for making changes to the Privacy Policy

The Company may change the content of this Policy without prior notice due to changes in laws and regulations or changes in operating policy. In such cases, individual notifications will not be made, so please refer to the latest most recentcurrent versioncontent of this Policy.
